Mental Health

There are different seasons of life, and we may all need some extra support from time to time. Maybe you have habitual patterns, cycles or reactions that need further exploration. Maybe you have felt “stuck”, or feelings of anxiety, depression, fear, overwhelm, and/or stress, have been impacting your day-to-day life, and you know you can’t keep going this way and are ready to address what is going on and make positive changes.

Substance Use Disorder

Substance Use Disorder (Addiction) is a chronic, progressive and potentially fatal disease, that affects both the body and the mind. It not only impacts the individual, but also the family system; thus, being called a family disease. Good news: SUD is a treatable condition! It is imperative that both clients and their families have the necessary support as they navigate the path to recovery. It is essential that clients and their families learn that they are not alone, recovery is real, and healing is possible.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a highly effective therapy mo

dality that focuses on beliefs, feelings, actions and results, and how the beliefs that propel this cycle can either be helpful or hurtful. It is important to explore this process and learn to identify and implement healthy ways of thinking, coping and behaving.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

Dialectics are feelings or experiences that appear to be at odds with one another. Through DBT we learn that we can experience both, and develop a set of skills that can help us live in the present, manage stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with self and others.

* DBT groups are not offered at this time; however, skills can be focused on in therapy sessions
